Snap Star TV Package

I was approached to design a motion graphics identity package for Wellingtons online entertainment magazine, Snapstar. They wanted fast turnaround and I proved I could offer them that by shooting the Cuba Street Carnival and editing it over the weekend. It was on their site within 48 hours.

Snapstar let me have creative control and I was able to get a fully working package up in two days complete with strap, outro, indent, exclusive intro and intro.

The work was completed in After effects and the sound in Sony Vegas. Voice recording was also done in Sony Vegas. The idea was to have a channel ident similar to E! Entertainment but without the fake lens flare and a bit more about events and glamor.

Since creation of the channel at www.snapstar.co.nz I have filmed many events and interviews including exclusive interviews with both P Money and Savage from DawnRaid. I have been constantly learning how to work with a presenter and selectively shoot what I need to create a good episode of Snapstar TV.

Future plans include a fashion and music area and a wider commercial coverage of events.
